Things that we need to do before the event date, or on the event date. It will be almost the same as in Venue section, but will just contains only the list of stuff needs to be done.

Network Setup & Testing

We had some serious problems with networking at the last event.  You need the internet for an event like this!  Plan ahead and TEST is importnat!

At Inet, you need to make sure that you get somebody to issue Wifi logins.  They have a machine that issues the tickets with temp username and password, but you must be sure that somebody sets up the accounts before the event.

As always, the day before the event, test the netwoprk connection.  Best to do that on a Friday when a systems engineer is in the office and they can help you fix any problems with connectivity you might have.
